Abstract: ABSTRACT "Direct Dielectric Heating Based Integrated System for Single-Borehole Plasma Gasification, Rotary Calcination with Metal-Carbide-Carbon Synthesis from Waste Feedstocks, and Microwave-Resonant Gas Separation with Adaptive Control and Multi- Feedstock Valorisation" An integrated underground coal valorization apparatus (100) for producing green hydrogen, metal carbides, activated carbon, and industrial gases from underground coal seams, compris- ing: a singleborehole pulsed-power plasma gasification system (10A) utilizing a composite hose with embedded molybdenum mesh conductor, earth-return circuit eliminating the need for dual-bore configurations, and annular syngas extraction; an ECAP-HR plasma-enhanced rotary calcination furnace (20) with STAR LINER refractory composition achieving 2400°C continuous operation; and a multi-product syngas valorization system (30) with wavelength- resonant gas separation and AI-XT adaptive control. The single-borehole system operates at scalable voltage modules (10kV, 100kV, 1000kV) with pulse energies from 10 kJ to 1 MJ, achieving 85-94% carbon conversion with 40-50% reduction in capital expenditure compared to dual-bore systems, while eliminating thermal runaway through distributed earth-return resistance. The apparatus achieves net-negative CO2 emissions with 1.8-2.5× performance multiplication through integrated operation.
