MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414091757 A) filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Nov. 25, 2024, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Keong Jin; Moon, Hong Man; Hyun, Joo Bong; and Kim, So Yeon.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device (1000) including a plurality of light-emitting devices (170a) is provided. The plurality of the light-emitting devices (170a) may be disposed on a substrate (110). A first insulating layer (220) may be disposed on the plurality of light-emitting devices (170a). Lenses (240) may be disposed on the first insulating layer (220). The lenses (240) may be disposed to respectively correspond to the plurality of light-emitting devices (170a). A first light-shielding pattern (210) may be disposed between the substrate (110) and the first insulating layer (220). The first light-shielding pattern (210) may be disposed to correspond to an area between the plurality of light-emitting devices (170a). A second light-shielding pattern (230) may be disposed on the first insulating layer (220). The second shielding pattern may overlap the first light-shielding pattern (210). The second light-shielding pattern (230) may include a central portion and an edge portion disposed around the central portion. The edge portion may be inclined with respect to the central portion."
