MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514067903 A) filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 16, 2025, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Han, Surin; Kang, Changheon; Han, Jonghyun; Kyoung, Kyuwon; Jeong, Seongwoong; and Moon, Younggyu.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device according to embodiments of the disclosure may comprise a substrate including a display area and a non-display area outside the display area, a thin film transistor on the substrate, a subpixel connected to the thin film transistor, an encapsulation layer disposed on the subpixel, a first sensor electrode disposed on the encapsulation layer, a touch interlayer insulation layer disposed on the first sensor electrode, and a second sensor electrode disposed on the touch interlayer insulation layer and electrically connected to the first sensor electrode through a contact hole in the touch interlayer insulation layer."
