MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514033021 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on April 3, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Deok-Young Choi; Mikyung Kim; Joohye Jung; and Youngjin Cho.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device includes: a base substrate including a first area, a second area spaced apart from the first area in a first direction, and a third area between the first area and the second area; a pixel in the first area; and a signal line in the first, second, and third areas, the signal line including: a first line portion in the first area; an insulating layer on the first line portion and having a plurality of contact holes defined therethrough; a connection portion on the insulating layer and connected to the first line portion via the contact holes; and a second line portion extending from the first area to the third area and on a different layer from the first line portion, wherein the contact holes are covered by the second line portion and overlap the second line portion in a plan view."
