MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064827 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 8, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Seong, Ju Yeop; Kim, Jong Hyuck; Myung, Man Sik; Park, Sung June; Lee, Hee Kwon; Jang, Jae Soo; Jeong, Jae Won; and Choi, Sung Chul.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device is provided. The display device comprises: a display panel including first and second surfaces facing each other; an elastic member disposed on the first surface; a first rigid member disposed on the elastic member; and a panel support member disposed on the second surface, wherein the first rigid member includes at least one from among polyethyleneterephthalate (PET), polyimide, and ultra-thin glass (UTG), and the elastic member includes at least one from among a dilatant, polyether block amide (PEBA), and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)."
