Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Display Device Member And Display Device' Filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045898 A) filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on May 13, for 'display device member and display device.'

Inventor(s) include Takachi, Kiyohiro; Kobayashi, Atsuhiro; and Ebisu, Keisuke.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a display device member having a laminate formed by laminating a shock-absorbing layer and a hard coat layer, wherein the hard coat layer breaking strength is 7 MPa or greater and the hard coat layer breaking elongation is 4-36%, where the hard coat layer breaking strength is the stress at which the hard coat layer breaks, and the hard coat layer breaking elongation is the elongation at break of the hard coat layer, in measurement of the tensile stress of the laminate."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 13, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/037175.
