MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517014142 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 19, for 'display module, modular display device comprising plurality of display modules, and control method therefor.'

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a display module comprising a communication interface and a plurality of driver ICs, wherein a first driver IC from among the plurality of driver ICs provides, if a driving signal is acquired from an external device through the communication interface, the driving signal to a second driver IC, which is adjacent to the first driver IC, so that the driving signal is sequentially provided to the rest of the plurality of driver ICs, and transmits the driving signal to a second display module from among a plurality of display modules on the basis of module connection information including whether the second display module is connected to any one from among the plurality of display modules according to a daisy chain method."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018472.
