MUMBAI, India, Oct. 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202417002413 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Chengdu Boe Optoelectronics Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Jan. 12, for 'display substrate and display apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Zhang, Ruqin; Kong, Chao; Qi, Yige; Zeng, Pingchuan; Yang, Feng; Chen, Jing; and Zou, Hongyun.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 25, under issue no. 43/2024.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display substrate and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises: a base substrate; a pixel defining layer, the pixel defining layer being located on a side of the base substrate and having multiple pixel openings emitting different colors, a pixel opening having a pixel opening orthographic projection onto the base substrate; a black matrix, the black matrix being located on a side of the pixel defining layer distant from the base substrate, and comprising black matrix openings corresponding to the pixel openings, a black matrix opening having a black matrix opening orthographic projection onto the base substrate, the black matrix opening orthographic projection covering the corresponding pixel opening orthographic projection, and compared with the pixel opening, the black matrix opening having an opening extension. At the positions of at least two pixel openings emitting light of different colors, and in a direction parallel with the base substrate, the length of the opening extension is inversely proportional to the length of the pixel opening orthographic projection."
