MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057514 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 16, for 'display system comprising modular display device and source device, and control method therefor.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a display system and a control method therefor. The display system according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: one or more source devices; and one or more modular display devices, each comprising a plurality of cabinets and being connected to each of the one or more source devices, wherein each of the one or more source devices comprise: an output interface; a communication interface connected to the one or more modular display devices; and one or more processors, the one or more processors receive a notification request signal from the one or more modular display devices through the communication interface and output notification information through the output interface on the basis of the notification request signal, and the notification request signal corresponds to a control signal transmitted from a control device to the one or more modular display devices."
