MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547067886 A) filed by Ifp Energies Nouvelles, Rueil-Malmaison, France, on July 16, for 'distributor for a fluidised bed.'

Inventor(s) include Brahem, Rim; Cloupet, Ann; Ahmadi-Motlagh, Amir Hossein; and Le Coz, Jean-Francois.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a device for the distribution of a light fluid phase (2) through a heavy fluid phase (4) in a reaction chamber (5), comprising: a pipe (1) for transporting the light fluid phase which comprises lower and upper ends; first and second windows (7, 8) made in a wall of the pipe near the upper end; and a distributor (3) comprising: radial branches (9) connected to each second window towards a branch peripheral end (24), on a branch axis (A) perpendicular to the axis of symmetry (Z) of the upper end, the lower face of the branches being open; a first jet breaker (6) arranged on the upper end and projecting around the upper end; and a second jet breaker (12) arranged near the branch peripheral end and facing the branch peripheral end."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 23, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/082851.
