Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Doctor Blade And Apparatus For Manufacturing Electrode Including Same' Filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070547 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 24, for 'doctor blade and apparatus for manufacturing electrode including same.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Soon; Choi, Kyuhyun; Chung, Changkwon; Gu, Jaeon; and Chun, Dong Jae.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A doctor blade, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a first blade having a first tip comprising an inclined flat surface; and a second blade having a second tip comprising a curved surface, wherein the first blade and the second blade are in contact with each other, can integrally move toward a traveling electrode on which an active material has been provided on a current collector, or can move in the opposite direction, or can individually move."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/001960.
