MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010064 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'door safety system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Navneet Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A door safety system, comprising an extendable frame 1 developed to be installed on a door of an enclosure, a camera 2 detects dimension of door for actuating a holographic projector 3 for projecting a virtual image of frame 1 on door to indicate an appropriate location and orientation in which frame 1 needs to be installed, frame 1 is extended by microcontroller for positioning a primary and secondary mounting plates 4, 5 at lateral side of door and wall by means of suction cups 8, on successful authentication of user, the microcontroller actuates hinge 9 for tilting frame 1 for opening door, a speaker 10 actuated by microcontroller for notifying user to perform secondary authentication, a card integrated with a RFID (radio frequency identification) tag is scanned by RFID Scanner 11 for opening door on successful authentication of user for allowing entry of enclosure."
