MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010788 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'driver safety vehicle simulation device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Simarpreet Kaur; Dr. Vinay Bhatia; Priyanshu Naudiyal; Chetan; and Ratinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A driver safety vehicle simulation device comprises a primary platform 1 configured with plurality of suction cups 2 for firmly gripping the surface, a seat 3 arranged on the platform for allowing a user to sit, a touch sensor integrated within the seat 3 for determining user presence, a speaker 5 installed on the platform for directing a user to attach seat belt, a touch interactive display panel 6 installed on the platform for user selection, plurality of electromagnetic springs 7 installed in between the primary platform 1 and secondary platform 4 for moving the secondary platform 4, plurality of inflatable air bags 9 installed within an artificial dashboard to prevent the user from being hurt, an impact sensor integrated within the secondary platform 4 for determining amount of impact, and an artificial intelligence based image capturing module 8 installed on the platform to determine posture of user's body."
