MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517012415 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Chengdu Boe Optoelectronics Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Feb. 13, for 'driving circuit, driving method, driving module, and display device.'

Inventor(s) include Yu, Ziyang; Qiu, Haijun; Hu, Ming; Jiang, Zhiliang; Wu, Jianpeng; Cheng, Tianyi; Zhao, Erjin; Chen, Wenbo; Ai, Sifei; Liu, Cong; and Guo, Yonglin.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A driving circuit, a driving method, a driving module, and a display device. The driving circuit comprises a first driving signal generation circuit (110), a first output control circuit (112), a first gating circuit (111), a first energy storage circuit I (114), a second energy storage circuit I (115), and a first output circuit (113), N being a positive integer; the first gating circuit (111) controls, under the control of a gating control signal, to write a gating input signal into a first node I (N1-1); the first output circuit (113) controls, under the control of the potential of a second node I (N1-2), an Nth-stage output driving end (NO(N)) to be communicated with a first voltage end (V1), and controls, under the control of the potential of a third control node I (NC1-3), the Nth-stage output driving end (NO(N)) to be communicated with a second voltage end (V2), the third control node I (NC1-3) and the second control node I (NC1-2) being different nodes. The updating of a local picture of a display screen can be achieved by controlling a gating input signal, thereby reducing power consumption."
