MUMBAI, India, Sept. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311019690 A) filed by Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on March 22, 2023, for 'drum designing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sonia Kumari; and Kaushalendra Kumar Dubey.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 27, under issue no. 39/2024.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a drum designing device, comprising an extendable platform 1 configured with a pair of telescopic rods 2 adapted to accommodate a drum manually positioned by user, a camera 4 synchronized with an ultrasonic sensor installed on platform 1 for detecting dimensions of drum, a dust sensor installed on platform 1 for detecting dust over drum, a display screen 6 for enabling a user regarding type of design or characters to be imprinted over drum, an L-shaped pole 7 configured with a plate 8 fabricated with multiple holes connected to one of pole 7 and positioned above drum, and an electronic nozzle 10 attached with a chamber 11 and positioned above plate 8 for dispensing a color over projected design to imprinting user input design or character on drum."
