MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054262 A) filed by Saint-Gobain Weber France, Sucy-en-Brie, France, on June 5, for 'dry mortar composition.'
Inventor(s) include Arangalage, Melanie; Sallier, Yannick; and Yammine-Malesys, Joumana.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a dry mortar composition comprising a hydraulic binder and aggregates, in which aggregates having a size of greater than or equal to 63 m are in a proportion of at least 50% based on the total weight of aggregates. The aggregates having a size of greater than or equal to 63 m have a roundness volume distribution such that the median value of the roundness is between 0.01 and 0.40, and the dry mortar composition has a particle size distribution by volume such that the D30/D95 ratio is between 4 and 15% and the D70/D95 ratio is between 60 and 72%."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/082289.
