MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517095222 A) filed by Arkema France, Puteaux, France, on Oct. 3, for 'ductile polyaryletherketone compositions.'
Inventor(s) include Paul, Clement; Brule, Benoit; and Pascal, Jerome.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to granules consisting of a composition C comprising a non-delaminating polymer mixture M, the mixture M comprising: at least 50% by weight of at least one pseudo-amorphous or semi-crystalline polyaryletherketone, said polyaryletherketone having a melting temperature below or equal to 340 C, relative to the total weight of the mixture; and from 5% to 40% by weight of a poly(etherimide-siloxane) copolymer, relative to the total weight of the mixture, it being understood that if the mixture M comprises from 5% to 7.5% by weight of a poly(etherimide-siloxane) copolymer, then the mixture M does not comprise a polysiloxane. The invention also relates to the use of the composition C for the manufacture of an article, of a part, or of a coating, at a maximum manufacturing temperature not exceeding 350 C."
