MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013113 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'dynamic internet of things device provisioning using an out of band mechanism.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Dynamic internet of things device provisioning using an out of band mechanism is provided. A method for dynamic internet of things device provisioning using the out of band mechanism may include receiving an out-of-band request message from a connected device and transmitting the out-of-band request message as a secured packet to a network entity. The method may also include transmitting a received response message from the network entity to the connected device. The response message may trigger the connected device to complete a completion exchange procedure."
