In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, information configuring a hopping pattern for monitoring a low-power wakeup signal (LP-WUS) based at least in part on one or more characteristics associated with the UE. The UE may monitor, using a low-power wakeup receiver (LP-WUR), a wakeup signal (WUS) resource for the LP-WUS based at least in part on the hopping pattern. The UE may wake a main radio from a deep sleep state based at least in part on the LP-WUR detecting the LP-WUS. Numerous other aspects are described."
