According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This study evaluates Green tea leaves extract as a green alternative to organic solvents in acidbase titrations, addressing issues of environmental impact, toxicity, flammability and bio- degradability associated with organic solvents. Aqueous extract was tested against organic solvents like Ethanol, Methanol and Acetone etc. Titrations showed clear color changes at the equivalence point, similar to organic solvents. The aqueous extract proved as effective and precise as organic solvents, making it eco-friendly option for accurate titrimetric analysis."
