According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a multi-layered, AI-integrated smart fencing mitigation system specifically designed to address the growing challenges of man- animal conflict. This system is engineered by integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies with strategically designed physical barriers. The system comprises of AI sensors capable of detecting animal movement. Live monitoring and alert mechanism capable of transmitting real-time video and audio from field to centralized control room is integrated with the system. The system also comprises of self-defence shock mechanism wherein the fence is embedded with low-voltage electric current system that delivers a mild, non-lethal shock to animals that come into direct contact with it. Also, it comprises of high strength physical barrier wherein the smart fence incorporates a specially engineered lashing belt matrix which ensures physical integrity of fence even in the event of electronic system failure."
