MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024691 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'electric pole reinforcing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Lokesh Kumar Tanwar; and Ankit Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric pole reinforcing assistive device, comprises of a cylindrical frame 1 having a pair of curved vertical plates 2 positioned near to an electrical pole, an imaging unit 3 captures multiple images in vicinity of the frame 1, a drawer arrangement 4 extends the plate to enclose the frame 1, multiple electromagnets 5 establish frame 1 with the pole, multiple pneumatic blocks 7 extend/ retract towards the pole to securely gripping the pole, plurality of rectangular flaps provides support to the frame 1 and pole, a LiDAR sensor detects presence of plane surface in proximity to the frame 1, a motorized circular slider 8 position rod over the frame 1, an angle sensor detects angle of inclination of the pole, multiple pneumatic pins 6 extend to grip the surface securely."
