MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074625 A) filed by Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki Kaisha, Shizuoka, Japan, on Aug. 5, for 'electric straddled vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Miyashiro, Shidehiko.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electric saddle-type vehicle is provided with a wheel, a motor, a battery, and a motor control unit. The motor drives the wheel. The battery is disposed above the motor. The motor control unit is disposed in front of the motor and the battery. The motor control unit overlaps the motor and the battery in the vehicle front-rear direction."
