MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311087990 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'electric two-wheeled vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Pradhan, Ameya Gajendra; and Kore, Akshay Sanjay.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses an electric two-wheeled vehicle (100). The electric two-wheeled vehicle comprising a body frame (102) comprises a head tube (142), a left and a right upper frame members (143,144), and a left and a right lower frame members (145,146). Moreover, the electric two-wheeled vehicle comprises a front wheel (106) and a rear wheel (108). In addition, the electric two-wheeled vehicle comprises a brake device (140) and a battery (110) supported by the body frame. Furthermore, the electric two-wheeled vehicle comprises an antilock braking system (ABS) (150) module fluidically connected to the brake device. The ABS module is disposed in front side (C) of the battery, and proximal to and below the left and the right lower frame members. The ABS positioning allows to increase the battery size/volume in the electric two- wheeled vehicle (100). In addition, the ABS module of the present invention is easily accessible for servicing."
