MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050899 A) filed by Kubota Corporation, Osaka, Japan, on May 27, for 'electric work vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Yamaguchi Tatsuya; Oguri Takefumi; Mitsui Haruki; Yasui Daiki; Araki Chihiro; Imaizumi Makoto; and Obata Norio.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electric work vehicle comprises electrical wiring (60) electrically connected to a power port, a connecting part (70) provided at one end of the electrical wiring (60) and connected to the power port, and a locking mechanism (80) capable of locking the connecting part (70) in a state of being connected to the power port. The locking mechanism (80) is configured to be capable of switching, in accordance with the operation of a manual operation tool (84), between a locked state of locking the connecting part (70) in a state of being connected to the power port and an unlocked state of allowing the connecting part (70) to be removed from the power port. The locking mechanism (80) is provided with a restraining part (26) located partway along an operation trajectory (K) of the manual operation tool (84). The restraining part (26) is fixed to the body of the vehicle by a fixture (b1) that is attached and removed using a tool."
