MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517022638 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on March 13, for 'electrode assembly, method for manufacturing same, and apparatus for manufacturing same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Jong Seok; and Kim, Yong Nam.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electrode assembly, a method for manufacturing the electrode assembly, and an apparatus for manufacturing the electrode assembly. The method comprises: a stacking step in which a laminate including a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode is stacked on a stack table; an induction heating step in which the laminate is inductively heated; and a heat press step in which the induction heated laminate is heated and pressed, and thus can reduce the temperature difference between electrodes and provide an electrode assembly having uniform performance."
