MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057995 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 17, for 'electrode assembly and lithium secondary battery comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Nam Hun; Song, Jae Eun; Kim, Jung Heub; and Kim, Chang Ho.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electrode assembly comprising: an electrode laminate comprising a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material layer, a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material layer, a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and at least one fixing member for winding and fixing the electrode laminate in a full-width direction, wherein the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode sliding part in which the thickness of the positive electrode active material layer decreases, and the at least one fixing member overlaps a region corresponding to the positive electrode sliding part."
