MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054311 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 5, for 'electrode assembly set and secondary battery comprising same.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Jin Hyung; Hwang, Soo Ji; and Kim, Mi, Na.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electrode assembly set comprising a connection unit which electrically connects a plurality of electrode assemblies inside a pouch, and which can move according to volume change of the electrode assemblies so that damage can be prevented. The electrode assembly set according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of electrode assemblies including a plurality of anodes, cathodes and separators; and a connection unit for electrically connecting the electrode assemblies to each other, wherein the connection unit includes a plurality of folding portions of which some are folded at a predetermined angle, and the predetermined angle can change to permit movement of the electrode assemblies."
