MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517009772 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 6, for 'electrode drying device and electrode drying method.'

Inventor(s) include Jang, Woo Sun; and Kang, Tae Won.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention disclosed herein provides an electrode drying device comprising: a heating chamber which has an electrode inlet and an electrode outlet and in which an electrode is installed so as to be able to travel between the electrode inlet and the electrode outlet; a heating member which is installed in the heating chamber to heat the electrode in a final heating zone positioned before the electrode outlet; and a control unit that, when the temperature of the electrode measured between the final heating zone and the electrode outlet changes according to the operation time of the electrode drying device, variably controls the output of the heating member in response to the changes in the temperature. The invention disclosed herein also provides an electrode drying method performed by the electrode drying device."
