The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electronic device (100) for desktop security management comprises a communication interface (102) configured to communicate with an authentication server (104) and comprising an authentication application, a storage device (108), and a hardware processor (106). The hardware processor (106) encrypts a file using a cryptographic protocol and generates a custom file extension associated with the encrypted files, wherein the custom file extension is accessible exclusively through the electronic device (100), preventing unauthorized applications from accessing encrypted files. The hardware processor (106) stores the encrypted files in the storage device (108). The hardware processor (106) generates a cryptographic hash value of the encrypted files and compares the cryptographic hash value with a stored hash value in the storage device (108) to detect unauthorized modification. The hardware processor (106) receives a time-based authentication code from the authentication application and prevents uninstallation of a security application when verified."
