MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079991 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 22, for 'electronic device and method for providing virtual space image.'

Inventor(s) include Ahn, Stephanie; Nam, Myoungwoo; Park, Eunyoung; Son, Dongil; Lee, Bona; Lee, Eunbin; and Chung, Miyeoung.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable device may comprise: at least one first sensor; a display; lens sets arranged with respect to the display; at least one actuator for the lens sets; and a processor. The wearable device may be configured to: constantly identify movements related to the wearable device through the at least one first sensor while screens provided through the respective lens sets are displayed on the display; identify whether the number of the movements identified during a reference time exceeds a first reference number; adjust the focus of each of the lens sets for providing the screens displayed on the display through the at least one actuator in response to the number exceeding the first reference number; and maintain the adjusted focus on the basis of identifying that the number of the movements identified during the reference time is less than or equal to a second reference number greater than the first reference number within a designated period after the focus of each of the lens sets has been adjusted."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/001968.
