Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 2, for 'electronic device comprising piezoelectric device, and touch input detection method using piezoelectric device.'

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A processor of an electronic device, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, may: if communicatively connected to an external electronic device through a short-range communication circuit in a state where a piezoelectric device and an audio output circuit are electrically connected, control at least one switching circuit so that the piezoelectric device and a touch sensing circuit are electrically connected; if a touch input is detected in the piezoelectric device through the touch sensing circuit, control the at least one switching circuit so that the piezoelectric device and the audio output circuit are electrically connected, and output audio through the audio output circuit; and after outputting the audio, control the at least one switching circuit so that the piezoelectric device and the touch sensing circuit are electrically connected."
