MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081120 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 27, for 'electronic device including antenna.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Sangmok; Seo, Mincheol; Yu, Changha; Kang, Woosuk; Park, Gyubok; and Chun, Jaebong.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a frame and a wireless communication circuit, the frame includes a side forming at least a portion of a lateral surface of the electronic device, and a support part extending from the side and located inside the electronic device, the frame includes a conductive area extending from a portion included in the side to another portion included in the support part, the wireless communication circuit is configured to transmit and/or receive a signal in a selected or designated frequency band through the conductive area, and the conductive area includes a first opening located on the side and a second opening located on the support part."
