MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020695 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'electronic gadget repairing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Mamta Bansal; Nidhi Tyagi; Arun Kumar Giri; and Shikha Chaudhary.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electronic gadget repairing assistive device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface where electronic gadget is to be repaired, an imaging unit 2 installed on the platform 1 to determine kind and model number of gadget, a display panel 3 arranged on platform 1 for displaying fetched specifications and enabling user's input details, plurality of drawers 4 arranged on body by means of multiple motorized sliding units 5 to deploy a particular drawer 4 stored with relevant tools, a magnifying glass 6 assembled on platform 1 by means of a bar 7, wherein a ball and socket joint 8 integrated in between magnifying glass 6 and bar 7 to tilt the glass 6 as per user's comfort to deal with minute components integrated with the gadget and a speaker 9 integrated on platform 1 produces audio commands to guide the user."
