MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517095016 A) filed by Buffalo Springs Investments, LLLP, Canadian, U.S.A., on Oct. 3, for 'electronic payment system.'

Inventor(s) include Abraham, Salem.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system receives, from an electronic terminal, a selection of a first user account, and a request to transfer an amount from the first user account to a second user account. In response to authorizing the request, the system updates, in real-time, a database to represent a transfer of at least a portion of the amount to the second user account and automatically generates a data packet containing the amount, an identification of the first user account, an identification of the second user account, and a selection of a digital asset in the first user account. The system then routs the data packet to a digital entity based on the digital asset, the data packet instructing the digital entity to execute a transfer order on a digital asset exchange platform of the digital asset."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/017803.
