MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067522 A) filed by Hitachi, Ltd., Tokyo, on July 15, for 'elevator apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Kubo Yosuke; Zama Hidetaka; and Ito Yasushi.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is an elevator apparatus comprising an emergency stop apparatus that is activated by an electric operation device that operates with high reliability. This elevator apparatus comprises a car, an emergency stop apparatus provided on the car, and an electric operation device provided on the car and which activates the emergency stop apparatus. The electric operation device is connected to the car-side via a first bracket (101) and a second bracket (102) connected to each other. The electric operation device and the first bracket are connected in a position-adjustable manner along a first direction. The first bracket and the second bracket are connected in a position-adjustable manner along a second direction. The second bracket and the car-side are connected in a position-adjustable manner along a third direction."
