MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007788 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'emergency evacuation device.'
Inventor(s) include Azhar Hussain Mozumder.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An emergency evacuation device includes a housing 1 configured with multiple rods 2 for support, a computing unit 4 to input location of a victim to be evacuated from a borewell accordingly wheels 3 attached with each rods 2 maneuvers housing 1, a link 5 for positioning attached spool 6 over borewell's mouth-portion and unwinding rope 7 configured with frame 8 towards victim as detected by camera 9 installed on frame 8, in case of victim's moving condition, a speaker 11 assembled on frame 8 notifies victim to secure harness 12 connected with frame 8 around victim's body, in case of victim's no movement, a suction unit 13 arranged on harness 12 secures victim's body with frame 8, spool 6 winds rope 7 to rescue victim, a module 14 for detecting victim's oxygen level and health parameters, speaker 15 for notifying a concerned person regarding victim's health condition."
