MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311085827 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany., on Dec. 15, 2023, for 'energy optimization system in a vehicle and a method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an energy optimization system in a vehicle and a method thereof. At 402, data/ training dataset is retrieved from multiple agents, and at 404, parameters, including environmental conditions, states and expected actions, are extracted from the data. At 406, learning engine 104 determines quantum bits based on the data. A tensor corresponding to the data is transformed to a quantum tensor through a quantum circuit. At 408, the quantum tensor is provided as an input into the neural network through classical layers to train the quantum circuit model. At 410 and 412, an output model is trained with the data, through the reward mechanism. A pseudo environment model is created at 410-1 and further based on matching of the recorded actions with the expected actions, rewards are generated by reward model at 410-2, thereby making the model ready to reward further data without any manual intervention."
