MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411002099 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 11, 2024, for 'energy optimizing mechanism for washing of clothes.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0066] An energy optimizer (104) and an energy optimizing method associated with a washing appliance (102) for optimum washing of a load of clothes. The energy optimizer (104) includes a receiving module (106) to receive one or more characteristics of a load of clothes requiring wash care and to obtain data related to weather conditions, one or more events associated with a user and energy conservation preference of the user. The energy optimizer (104) also includes an analyzer (108) to determine a wash cycle and a wash schedule for the load of clothes based on the one or more characteristics of the load of clothes, the obtained data related to weather conditions, one or more events associated with the user and energy conservation preference of the user by employing an artificial intelligence model."
