MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044907 A) filed by Ibio Inc., San Diego, on May 9, for 'epidermal growth factor receptor variant iii antibodies.'

Inventor(s) include Phan Dillon; Hsu Tom Sih Yuan; Greving Matthew P; Brenner Martin; Phuong Tam Thi Thanh; Taguchi Alexander Tomoaki; Schwartz Cory; Liu Gao; and Chen Jiang.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are anti EGFRvIII antibodies and binding fragments thereof. The anti EGFRvIII antibodies of the disclosure are useful for the treatment of cancers through e.g. antibody dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC). Also provided herein are methods of making and using the anti EGFRvIII antibodies for the treatment of cancer and polynucleotides that encode the same."
