According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an ergonomically configured spatula (100) designed for flipping food items such as dosa during cooking operations. The spatula (100) comprises a spatula head (102), a shaft portion (103), and a handle (104). The handle (104) comprises a curved ergonomic configuration configured to conform to the natural grip of a user's hand and to distribute applied force across the palm and fingers, thereby reducing wrist strain and hand fatigue during prolonged use. The spatula head (102) may include a plurality of slots (105) to reduce weight and facilitate oil drainage. The curved geometry of the handle (104) further provides finger clearance when the spatula (100) rests on a surface, enabling easy lifting of the utensil. The invention provides improved comfort, usability, and operational efficiency compared to conventional spatulas."
