MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079688 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Nov. 23, 2023, for 'estimation of a run-time connected-layout of a moving multi-display system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0080] A display device (100) in a moving multi-display system and a method for estimating a run-time connected-layout of the moving multi-display system. The display device (100) includes a communication module (102) to acquire continuously, measurements of distance and angles of placement of all the display devices in the moving multi-display system. The system also includes a position module (104) to determine relative positions of each of the display devices in the moving multi-display system, based on the obtained measurements of distance and angles of placement. Then, to assign a position identifier to each of the display devices in the moving multi-display system, based on the determined relative positions. The system also includes a layout module (106) to estimate a run-time connected-layout formed by all of the display devices of the moving multi-display system, based on the assigned position identifiers."
