MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641050357 A) filed by Srm Institute Of Science And Technology, Ramapuram Campus; and Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 20, for 'event-driven artificial intelligence recruitment and interview evaluation system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current invention is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven system for Evaluating and Recruiting candidates. The system allows for automated candidate Evaluation, Automated Conversational Interviews with candidates, Semantic Analysis of candidates responses to questions, and Structured Hiring Decisions based on Event-Driven Workflow Architecture. In addition, the AI driven system includes candidate input acquisition, large Language Model-based evaluation of candidates responses, data storage of candidate responses and decisions made by the organization for future reference, and decision-making using structured decision intelligence in one unified Computational Framework. The proposed system allows organizations to assess candidates at scale, reduce the effects of subjectivity when assessing candidates, improve the efficiency of their recruiting process, and provide decision support that organizations can rely upon for hiring decisions in a real world organizational environment."
