MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202417073187 A) filed by Byd Company Limited, Guangdong, China, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'explosion-proof valve, battery, battery module, battery pack and vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a vehicle (600), having a battery pack (500). The battery pack (500) comprises a battery (300) or a battery module (400). The battery module (400) comprises the battery (300). The battery (300) comprises an explosion-proof valve (200). The explosion-proof valve (200) comprises an explosion-proof valve body (100). The explosion-proof valve body (100) is provided with score grooves (11), and the score grooves (11) comprise two first score grooves (111), two second score grooves (112), and one third score groove (113). One end of each of the two first score grooves (111) and one end of each of the two second score grooves (112) are respectively connected to two ends of the third score groove (113). The other ends of the two first score grooves (111) extend in a direction away from each other, and the other ends of the second score grooves (112) extend in a direction away from each other. The explosion-proof valve body (100) comprises an opening area (10). In the depth direction of the score grooves, the outer edge of the orthographic projection of the opening area (10) is a predetermined opening boundary (131), and the area of the orthographic projection of the opening area (10) is (I), wherein S=80 mm2, c=4 mm, and a=30."
