Inventor(s) include Dr. Sainudeen Pattazhy; Dr. Ashish W. Fande; Prof. Dr. Reena Singh; Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh; and Prof. Vandana Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Our Invention "Extraction of Bamboo Fibers for handloom and its Process thereof" is a use of blended supplemental cementitious materials in concrete production has an adverse effect on the environment in addition to contributing to the reduction of cement usage. This study's primary goal was to examine the mechanical and microstructural characteristics of bamboo fiber-reinforced concrete that included a mixture of waste glass powder (WGP) and waste marble powder (WMP) in place of some of the cement. The physical and chemical characteristics of the components used in concrete were investigated in order to meet these goals. [501] The design mix was created utilizing 0.75% bamboo fiber as an additive and 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% blended WMP and WGP in place of cement, in accordance with the American Concrete Institute's (ACI) mixing guidelines. After the samples were cured in water for seven and twenty-eight days, mechanical tests were performed. For the 28-day cured specimens, the microstructural characteristics of the hardened concrete from three distinct mixes were also ascertained. The study's findings showed that while maximum splitting tensile strength was attained at M1 (5%), improvements were shown in compressive strength, shear stress, and bond stress at M2 (10%). [503] Additionally, X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed portlandite, calcium aluminum silicate, quartz, and calcium silicate hydrate as prevalent phases of the concrete structure, while scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed a denser microstructure. Eventually, the experimental finding implied that using a 10% blend of WMP and WGP as a partial replacement for cement and 0.75% bamboo fiber improves fresh and hardened concrete properties."
