MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003693 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'eyeliner application device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eyeliner application device, comprises a cylindrical hollow body 1 housed with elongated hollow members 2 filled with different coloured eyeliners for applying on the user's eye, a microphone 3 mapped on the body 1 for enabling the user to give voice commands regarding color of the eyeliner to be applied by the user, a fingerprint sensor 4 fabricated on the body 1 for allowing the user to feed fingerprints for verification, a camera 5 mounted within body 1 for capturing multiple images of members 2, a motorized slider 7 attached with electromagnetic springs 6 ranging from 4 to 6 in numbers attached with members 2 for translating the springs 6 in a manner to align determined member 2 with an opening of the body 1, and a pressure sensor configured on the body 1 for detecting pressure applied by the user for gripping the body 1."
