MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010376 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'face care device.'

Inventor(s) include Shashank Prakash; Rajeev Sharma; and Dr. Manish Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A face care device comprises of a curved-shaped extendable body 1 developed to be positioned in proximity to ear lobe of a user, an artificial intelligence-enabled imaging unit 2 is mounted on body 1 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, motorized clipper 3 configured at an end of body 1 for gripping ear lobe, an ultrasonic sensor positioned on body 1 for detecting distance of body 1 from user's face, motorized circular slider 7 installed within chamber 4 for rotating and positioning primary roller 5 in proximity to opening carved on chamber 4, a secondary roller installed within chamber 4 via slider 7 and wrapped with tissue paper for wiping user's face., motorized blade 10 installed in proximity to opening for cutting unwrapped make-up wipe 6/tissue paper 9, container 11 attached on body 1 for discarding the cut make-up wipe 6/tissue."
