MUMBAI, India, Dec. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311037732 A) filed by Avanstrate Inc.; and Avanstrate Korea Inc., Tokyo, on June 1, 2023, for 'falling object collecting device and glass substrate manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Hur, Hyun; Lim, Hyunchul; Lee, Youngsik; Lee, Hanui; and Kim, Jaewon.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 6, under issue no. 49/2024.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a falling object collecting device for receiving falling objects in the glass substrate manufacturing process, including: an opening part having an upward opening for receiving the falling objects; and a collecting part connecting with the opening part such that the inside of the collecting part and the inside of the opening part are connected with each other, wherein the collecting part has an accommodating space at the bottom thereof, when the falling object is received by the upward opening, it passes through the inside of the opening part and the collecting part, and reaches the accommodating space."
