MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621010367 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Jan. 31, for 'farm produce processing system.'
Inventor(s) include Ayush Gour; Sukhdeep Kaur; Rajkumar Rajbhar; Deep Dave; and Dr. Sanket Badiyani.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A farm produce processing system, comprising of a housing 101, a raw farm produce input and loading unit to receive farm produces, a touch interactive display panel 103 to enable a user to provide input commands regarding processing type, farm produce selection, size preferences and washing parameters, a metering gate 104 to allow farm produces to pass individually for further processing, a monitoring unit to identify farm produce type, surface condition, moisture content, and presence of foreign objects, a foreign object separation unit to generate multidirectional vibrations for dislodging foreign materials, and collect and eject separated foreign objects, a scrubbing unit to scrub individual farm produces while maintaining surface contact, a chopping unit to remove leaves from farm produces and cut into user-selected sizes, and a washing and tumbling unit to remove dirty water generated during washing."
