MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012448 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'farm produce storage and displaying device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A farm produce storage and displaying device a double-layered cuboidal frame 1 integrated with multiple omnidirectional wheels 2 through the set of rods 3 for giving access to a user to maneuvering the frame 1 on a ground surface, an extendable chamber 4 mounted within the frame 1 by pair of telescopically operated bars 5 for accommodating farm produce, a camera 6 assembled within the chamber 4 for capturing multiple images of the farm produce, ranging of Peltier units 7 coupled between the first and second layers of the frame 1 for maintaining an ideal temperature within the frame, a touch enabled screen 8 fabricated on the frame 1 to give input commands for positioning out the chamber 4 out from the frame 1 and pair of motorized sliders 9 configured between base portion of the frame 1 and bars 5 for translating the bars 5 away from each other."
